Spring Mini Sessions | Richmond Va Photographer : Salisbury Studios in Midlothian Va is one of my favorite places to host mini sessions! It’s an absolutely gorgeous (and private) location that changes with the seasons. It’s nice to be able to have your kids run around somewhere with less distractions than a public park. Then you have to deal with other kids running around too! I find that it makes the mini sessions run a little smoother. Some kids who normally wouldn’t thrive in a mini session setting really do well here because they can explore in the (mostly) quiet. Who Are Mini Sessions Best For?
Mini Sessions work the best for families with older kids, or kids who are outgoing. Families who just want quick updated photos for a specific purpose are a good fit too. Mini sessions give the perfect for maternity photos if you are pregnant around the time I am hosting them. I also recommend mini sessions to couples. If you need a quick engagement session, or just some updated photos for your house mini sessions are a great option. Sometimes families with shy kiddos need the time available in a full session to warm up to the camera. I know that sometimes an hour seems long. BUT the way I structure my sessions they end up more like a family date that I am a third wheel on.
